ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation, and its contractor, Millstone Bangert, Inc., will move traffic to the new pavement on the north side of Route 340 (
Olive Boulevard
) between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007. Additionally, crews will open the ramp from southbound I-170 to
Olive Boulevard
and switch southbound I-170 traffic to the new I-170 lanes after 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007. Northbound I-170 traffic will stay on the current lanes until Friday, June 15, 2007.
On Saturday, June 16, 2007, MoDOT will close>
Olive Boulevard
under I-170 to remove the remaining portions of the I-170 bridges over
Olive Boulevard
.
Olive Boulevard
will open after crews clean up from tearing down the bridges; the route is scheduled to open no later than 6 a.m. Monday, June 18.
With the new traffic pattern, traffic on westbound
Olive Boulevard
will still be unable to make a left turn onto the southbound I-270 ramp. To access southbound I-170, follow the detour signs: take northbound I-170 to
Page Avenue
and take the ramp for southbound I-170.
